Harrison Nwadike Receives Certificate Of Return
Sequel to the ousting of Hon Ugonna Ozuruigbo (OZB) by the Court of Appeal and declaration of Barrister Harrison Nwadike, as the duly elected member of the Federal House of Representatives for Isu, Njaba, Nwangele and Nkwerre Federal Constituency of Imo State, the latter was yesterday, in Abuja presented with a Certificate of Return by the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC.
Recall, that Ozuruigbo, a former two time member of the Imo State House of Assembly who also served as the Deputy Speaker of the hallowed chamber, had served out his first tenure as a federal lawmaker on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP. He was declared winner of the February, 25, 2023 election on the basis of which Nwadike of the APC, appealed the verdict and followed it up from the tribunal uptill the Court of Appeal where Ozuruigbo’s victory was upturned in his favour, on December, 21, 2023.
