–      Vows To Bridge Gap Between Leaders, Led For Optimal Service Delivery

The newly elected President of Former Members of the Imo State House of Assembly, Hon Prince Ugochukwu Nzekwe, ersthwhile two time member for Nkwerre State Constituency, has condemned in very strong terms, the killing of security operatives Imo State last week.

Hon Ugochukwu who expressed his feelings while addressing journalists in Owerri, the state capital yesterday, described the killing as a barbaric act that is not in tandem with the culture of Ndigbo who are known for their calm and peaceful disposition no matter the level of provocation.

He urged the youths of Imo State to shun all kinds of violence and unwholesome conduct that project our state in bad light.

He also noted that FORMIHA under his watch, will bridge the gap between the leaders and the led with a view to ensuring optimal service delivery.

Nzekwe, further disclosed that the corporate office of FORMIHA will be open in no distant time to avail Imolites who have complaints or inputs to make the opportunity to ventilate their thoughts on effective representationb and governance for deliberation and necessary action, rather than taking the law into their hands, because two wrongs don’t make a right. Besides, it is an aberration to address issues in this digital age with stone age mentality that attaches premium to brute force rather than thoughtful reasoning”.
