There is every indication that the out-going governor of Imo state, Owelle Rochas Okorocha, and most of his aides may have started evacuating from the government house shortly after the declaration of the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha, as winner, in the just concluded gubernatorial election in the state by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

A reliable government house source disclosed this to Community Watchdog Newspaper on account of anonymity, stressing that, shortly after the declaration by INEC declaring Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha, some of us were detailed to assist in moving some items to Ogboko.

He went on to state that, a big lorry loaded with many items were moved out from government house to an unknown destination, which the source said could be Ogboko, the governor’s home town or Spibat residence to pave way for the next governor.

It was also gathered that some official vehicles are been moved out from the state, while some of the numbers plates belonging to the state have been removed, as well the source revealed.

It was also gathered that the loss of Ugwumba Uche Nwosu to Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha, is one received with sad feelings by those in Okorocha’s camp, which development has punctured their dream of hanging around the corridors of power for long.

The government house source also hinted that, government house now looks deserted like a grave yard, as many aide to the governor Okorocha are finding their way to escape, being arrested or prosecuted for any of the wrong doings of the out-going administration in the state.
