…opens for business in Owerri

There is joy in Owerri the Imo State capital as indigenes and residents are now assured of quality and efficient diagnostic centre for their health needs following the opening of the Link Medical Diagnostic and Research Laboratories in the Eastern Heartland over the weekend.

The centre, which is well equipped with state of the art facilities, modern medical equipment, well qualified and experienced laboratory scientists and technicians was last Friday accredited and certified by the highly respected ISO to commence rendering  services to the general public.

Addressing Newsmen at the auspicious occasion which took place at Haven Suits Hotel, World Bank, the Director of  Link Medical Diagnostic and Research Laboratories, MLS Chijioke Patience expressed joy over the milestone achieved by her firm by getting accreditation and certificate to operate in the state.

According to her, “l am over joyed to announce to the world that Link Medical Diagnostic and Research Laboratories is now open to render it’s services to the general public and we are the best among equals”.

Speaking further, the Director of the medical facility pointed out that her center went through various degrees of research, training and retraining of staff to come out top as one of the best Laboratories East of the Niger, stressing that the management and staff of the Laboratory have acquired the requisite  knowledge and experience in the Laboratory industry to operate.

MLS Chijioke Patience appealed to the Imo State Government and residents of the state to make good use of the center for the benefit of  their heath .

The newly certified Laboratory, Link Medical Diagnostic and Research Laboratories is situated along World Bank Road Owerri ,opposite Haven Suits Hotels.

While delivering his speech, the Imo State Commissioner for Health, Dr Prosper Ohayagha commended the Medical Director of Link Medical Diagnostic and Research Laboratories for a job well done in setting up the centre for the benefit of all Imolites and residents.

Dr Ohayagha equally used the opportunity to advise other Laboratories in lmo state to work in collaboration with staff of Link Medical Diagnostic and Research Laboratories for the health benefits of all Imolites.

The Commissioner assured the laboratory centre of Imo State Government as he called on the support of lmo residents to make good use of the opportunity provided by the medical centre to take good care of their health.

Contributing, the Special Guest of honour at the occasion who is also the Registrar, CEO of Medical Lab Science Council of Nigeria, Dr Tosan Erhabor, applauded the Medical Director of the establishment for her vision and passion to render qualitative health services to the general public.

He noted that he personally supervised  researches conducted by the centre over the years and that he is convinced that the laboratory is well qualified to operate  and render services to the public.
