The President General of Umuowa Progressive Union, in Orlu LGA of Imo State, Barr. Henry Chidi Nwuke, during the last Umuowa day celebration, held on Tuesday 26th December 2017, at the Secondary Technical School, Umuowa, gave account of his stewardship in the past one year and thanked the people for the confidence reposed in him and assured them of his passion for the overall development of the community.

The Lagos based legal luminary, also commended some prominent stakeholders and community leaders, who were honoured as patrons for their immense contributions to the peace, growth and development of the community. Prominent among those honoured is Chief Fidelis Ajawara, whom he described as one of the pillars of the community.

Addressing journalists on why he has not declared interest in the federal constituency seat, inspite of pressures mounted on him to contest, he said power belongs to God and as a committed servant of the people, he is still consulting and will make his stand known very soon.
